Hi there! I'm Clare.  I'm the treat giver to Otis and Pretzel.

I'm passionate about creating cozy, calming spaces for all breeds but Dachshunds in particular —a love that began with my own two pups, Pretzel and Otis. Pretzel, in particular, was a very anxious little guy, and it inspired me to find ways to help him feel safe, relaxed, and at home. That journey sparked something special: the perfect blend of my creative streak and deep affection for Dachshunds. Now, I pour that same care into designing comfy retreats for these lovable, long-bodied companions, giving them the peace and comfort they deserve.

Meet Pretzel – our lovable little sausage dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s all about the creature comforts of life: soft blankets, warm laps, and endless cuddles. Pretzel is a pro at giving big, slobbery kisses and has absolutely no concept of personal space (and we wouldn’t have it any other way). His greatest joys in life? Food, de-stuffing his favorite toys, and going for car rides with his ears flapping in the breeze.

This is Otis – our forever puppy with a heart full of joy and a spirit that never grew up. He lives for fusses, food, and taking in the world from the comfort of his beloved stroller. Otis is also our incredible IVDD survivor, and his strength and resilience continue to amaze us every single day. He’s the sweetest little soul and a true inspiration wrapped in a tiny, wagging package.
